KCA Calliana 1st birthday and weaning

It's hard to believe a whole year has gone by since this wonderful filly came into our lives.
We feel so blessed having her in our lives and look forward to many adventures.
She has been weaned just short of a week ago. It worked rather successfully.
As you can gather she was spoilt slightly to a new grown up headcollar & lead rope,  some horse muffins, and a limit.
Neither were particularly stressed. Mum loaded straight on trailer and travelled to our other yard, while baby stayed at current yard with a friends pony until mums milk dries up.
I think we would definitely do this again. It really worked well.
